11/20-28 Week in Review

Friday Nov 20 me and some Girlfriends went to see New Moon.  Had dinner and drinks first then off to the show.  We had a great time and I hope we can do this again soon!  I must say I was disappointed in the movie though.  Next time I won't re-read the book right before seeing the movie.

Judith stayed with us Friday night then rode with Archie and I to Jaime Louvieres wedding at The Richmond House on Saturday.  It was a beautiful wedding and of course a good time!  Congrats to Jaime and Dave!

Loved the Chinese Lanterns!  Added such a good feel.

These boys (which are all cousins i think) were taking a picture on this ledge.  It was so cute!  Then Archie wanted to fit in so he sat in and then offered them a bruski.  I didnt catch it but they were making such cute funny faces when he did it.

Went to Lake Charles for Thanksgiving.  I convinced my brother to come out with me (Archie Hunted all weekend at my dads camp).  Although Kam was stuck with Me, Kristi, Murphy, & Judith I think he had an OK time.

This Picture tells me that this is when I SHOULD have gone home.  But Instead we headed elsewhere..

This year I am Thankful for my wonderful husband and wonderful Family. This year has been QUITE a rollercoaster for us so I hope next year will be a little more smooth sailing.  Yeah right!  Who am I kidding!  But I love it!  Hope all is well with everyone.  Much Love

This & That

Sorry I havent updated but it's been a wierd week so far.  Archie came home from hunting with a sprang shoulder and neck (more like sprang body) and has been in and out the doctor. Unfortunately It's not from Hauling a huge Buck out of the woods.  While Archie was away I put all the Fall decor up in the attic and hauled the Christmas decor down from the attic.  All except the big tree, which I was leaving for Archie to get down because I could not do it by myself but now it looks like it will stay in the attic since he's hurt.  So I guess I will just decorate our small tree this year, which is ok with me.  Less cleanup!  I was flipping through a magazine and saw cute decorations that I tried to copy.  I hung big Ornament balls from our living room curtains and I think I like it.  It didnt come out like I had imagined but its fine just the same.  I also Decided to do some "arrangements" if that's what you want to call them.  My mom approved of the pics I sent her and since I love her taste They will stay up!  Here is my attempt at Being Crafty:

Yesterday we had dinner with Karlee, Nathan, and their new baby Lucas.  He is such a cutie and such a good baby so far.  Karlee looks great and is doing such a good job as a new Mommy!  Lucas was sleeping when we got there and I could not wait until he woke up so that I could hold him.  He is so very cute I can't wait to visit again!  Here is a pic Lucas, notice he is sleeping because I was impatient :)

And Lastly since I don't have a cute baby like Lucas to dress up I decided it was time to dye Milo and Scooters mohawk again.  And in the Spirit of The LSU tigers I went with Purple this time.

Hopefully this weekend is better than last.  Friday is dinner with Girlfriends then off to see New Moon.  I am counting down and almost finished re-reading New Moon as a nice refresher.  Then Saturday we are going to our good friend Jaime L's wedding at the Richmond house.  I'm looking forward to the wedding and sharing that day with Mr & Mrs David Gautreaux.  Good times!  Hope is well with everyone!  Love!

Sneaky Scooter....

Well once again I caught Scooter Devouring Milos food.  I put two food bowls down every morning and night.  Scooter seems to think if Milo is not Hungry right then, as soon as I put their food down, its his for the taking.  Maybe I should not be feeding them twice a day anymore?  I dont have the time or Patience to make sure Scoot doesn't eat Milos food so what do I do??

Archie is out of town AGAIN hunting and I stayed here because I am working the Childrens Festival tomorrow at The Woodlnds Pavillion. I am ready for hunting season to be done with.  But that just means it's time to Start working 7 days a week and open Hebert's Hot Tails.  We are hoping to open In January.  Depends on How this winter goes (WHAT WINTER?).  I think Archie is suppose to give the farmer a call this weeke to see what he thinks.  I am actually looking forward to opening the Hut again and I Pray that this season will be a huge success.  I am counting on all our friends to help us spread the word when the time comes :).  Well Guess I will get back to watching LSU embarass themselves while playing La Tech...  Seriously?  What are they doing???
BTW I updated my Blog settings and now I can't figure out how to Spell Check?  Help please. Love

Farm at The Hebert's

SERIOUSLY!!!!!!  I swear I live next to a farm!  SO if you know us and you have been to our house you know what I mean.  Many times the chickens and roosters from the yard behind us have hopped the fence and hung out in our back yard.  They walk around like they own the place.  Last Monday I was letting the dogs out in the rain and a skunk ran across our backyard.  So roosters, chickens, a skunk and Now A HUGE possum!  I let the dogs out and they started barking like crazy so I yelled at Arch to go see what was going on and he yells at me to get the camera because there is a Huge possum perched on our fence checking us out.  Of course I didn't get the camera in time.  No But seriously what is going on?  I live in the city people! This has got to stop.  I keep visioning that some crazy animal is going to come attack my boys and That i just could not handle!

Hebert's Red Carpet Affair

Well we had so much fun Last night at Our Second Annual Halloween Party!  The Theme was Celebrity couples.  All the Couples looked so cute!  Scooter was a pumpkin and Milo was a Bee.  They were Miserable in their costumes!  As much fun as it was everyone was gone by midnight oddly enough so we got to bed earlier than expected.  And A side note about Jim and Pam from The Office.  As they got there I said "Oh Cute Sarah and look you have an Odouls Like Pam would!"  Minutes Later they announced they were Pregnant!  Congrats to the Paul's!!!!  Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween
