How does your Garden Grow?

As I was thinking what to title the blog I was trying to think of the nursery rhyme that goes with the title.  I can't think of it though!  Guess I will learn them all soon enough.  Archie and I have a garden growing in our back yard and we have been babying it a lot so that we wont kill the plants this time.  And what do you know we have veggies growing!  The ones to start blooming first were the cherry tomatoes and now our bellpeppers and zucchini are sprouting.  We even got to eat some of the cherry tomatoes on friday.  Here are some pics of our progress:

Archie hung a bird feeder on the purgola.  These birds go through all the bird feed in one day!  Hungry little birdies.

Me and Jenn at our Junior League Graduation party.  Yes!  The Tuesday meetings are finally done!!!

My parents and my Aunt Lisa came to visit this weekend.  It was Great seeing them and my dad and Archie fixed up some things at the hut too.  Come back soon!!!  Love Yall!

Not the best pic but here is Archie and I.  Please excuse the no makeup I wasnt feeling up to it that morning.  Not because I was sick or anything simply because I just didnt feel like it.  It gets so hot at the hut that sometimes I think it is pointless to wear it there.  Other than the usual business everything is great here.  I think we only have 5 or 6 weeks left in this season and I will admit I am looking forward to having my weekends back.  I will be heading to New Orleans Saturday for work to attend the APA conference.  My brother was supposed to come help Archie at the hut but he got a job cleaning up the oil spill making great money so Archie is trying to find some friends here to help him while I am gone.  Hopefully he can handle it while I am gone.  Well hope all is well with you!

Check up

I had a check up today to go over test results from the Nuchal test.  Everything looks great and tests came back normal.  YAY!  She did say that my blood type is A negative which means I have to do something at 28 weeks (I cant remember what exactly).  I asked her accurate the "angle" measurement is and she said pretty accurate.  I go back June 1st and that's when we will find out for sure if it really is a boy, if not then that angle measurement is wrong in my eyes.  Today the heartbeat was 165, it was 175 at 9 weeks.  According to the old wives tale the high heart beat should be girl.  SO at this point who knows!  Other than that just moving right along! :)

On another note I think I almost had my first anxiety attack in Babies R Us on Tuesday.  Picking out things is so overwhelming!  I cant believe there are so many options, seriously like 100 different carseats, strollers, breast pumps, bottles....etc.  I wish I could pay someone to pick it all out for me.  (Hmmmm maybe a new business idea!)  So I have decided I am not going back in that store or looking for anything for that matter until after Crawfish Season is over and I have more time and Archie can tag along.  Well I hope all is well with you!
