Had to video with my IPhone and then Email it to myself. The video on my Flip would never upload to my blog. So here she is, she hasn't mastered rolling back over from front to back every time. She has done it but not every time. Enjoy :)

Emery's Weekend Advancement

This weekend my parents came in and it was also our first weekend opening the hut. It was sooo nice having them here. Mom showed up with some PRECIOUS onesies my Aunt Lisa made for Emery. They have our logo on them and Emery's name. They are just perfect! Thanks Aunt Lisa!! Emery did so good at the hut. But we did have extra hands so I am sure it will be a little more difficult on our own. The hut got broken into Saturday night, nothing major stolen but a bit of damage. Just aggravating how disrespectful some people can be. I hope they enjoyed all the alcohol and other things they took.

Emery has turned some milestones this weekend. She is now a roll over machine! Guess I will have to stop swaddling her soon. She keeps attempting to hold her bottle. She is close, does it when it isn't as full on her own. She now grabs things like toys and her paci and throws them. I feel she is just so much more engaged and interactive. Which on the other hand makes me feel like I am missing so much :( I so badly wish I could stay home with her. And maybe one day I will be able to. I just wish I could be with her every second.

I did finally get her to roll over on camera but for some reason my video is taking for ever to upload so I will try and post it in a post of its own.

My little Valentine

This year we had the perfect little Valentines Day with Emery. She was full of smiles! She is such a good baby and we have been so lucky. Emery is a little under the weather with congestion and coughing so we are going back to the doctor this afternoon (we went last week too). Even though she feels like poo she is still such a happy little girl.
I think I am on my last month of nursing. I have been going back and forth trying to make a decision. I can't exercise and nurse. Why you may ask? Well for example yesterday I pumped at 5 pm before I went for a jog, did not nurse but pumped again at 9:30 pm and NO milk! I was fine this morning but if I want to workout I can forget nursing for at least six or so hours after that. Weird but true and I promise this is not my excuse to not workout. Although it would be a good one.... No but seriously I am ready to fit back into my clothes. I still have plenty of milk saved up for her but I must admit that I think I will have a guilty conscience about it. Plus I was thinking how hard this will be at the Crawfish hut too. I don't know, I am still undecided but I'm leaning more towards the "I'm over it" side.

Oh and I forgot to tell you how my Valentine's Day began, I was running late (of course) and got myself dressed and ready to go, fed her and then went to get her changed. Noticed my pants were wet on my right thigh (where she was previously sitting so I could burp her) And then realized that my sweet angel had a Massive blowout on the ONLY pair of black work pants I have. So I went through all the pants in my closet and found a pair I could button. Now when I say button do not think this was an easy task, they looked like spandex on me. Gross. But it was all I had so I wore them. Needless to say I bought another pair of black pants yesterday. They are what I call my "big girl" work pants since they are in a size I though i would never wear. Another reason on why I need to get back into my work clothes!

Excuse my annoying voice :)

What's going on

This is how my husband shops at Hobby Lobby, by entertaining himself by trying on all the accessories he can :) Notice Emery in the background waiting for us
Scarlett checking Emery out
Bus trip to Coushatta for a friends birthday. It was fun but Oh so tiring! Thanks mom for watching Emery!
I try to take a picture of her every month on the 29th. This would be Month 3
This is her first 3-6 month size outfit :( growing to fast
And lastly this was yesterday at The Morales' house for the Super Bowl. Baby Michael was a little flirt and wanted to hold Emery's hand. So cute!

Everything is going great around here. Emery is growing up and such a fun happy baby to be around. On another note I am at a crossroads with the extra weight. I have about ten pounds left of baby weight that I can't get rid of by doing nothing. But when I do start exercising and watching what I eat I feel as though my milk supply takes a hit. So It's either do what's best for the baby and continue to nurse OR to be selfish and stop nursing so I can lose the extra weight. I have a feeling I am going to still nurse bc I am not quite ready to give it up yet but Gosh I just thought it would "fall off" with all the milk I have.

We should be opening the hut this weekend and it will be very different with a baby this year! But we are prepared for it and will go with the flow and Im sure it will all work out.

A Couple of weeks ago Nana (Archie's mom) came to stay with us and we decided to do a photo shoot with Emery. I just realized I forgot to post these pics so enjoy! We had so much fun with her! Emery is just growing up too fast. I am already having to pack away some of her 0-3 month size clothes. Here is our sweet girl:
