Getting ready

We our having our second Halloween Party this weekend. This year we decided to pick a theme: Famous Couples. Which I thought would be easy and cheap but making the decision of who Archie and I would be was difficult! I'm not gonna tell you what we picked, you will have to wait and see the pics but we Almost dressed up as Ellen and Portia. That would have been hilarious but i couldn't figure out how to dress up as Portia. Anyways I seriously need to get in gear and do some decorating! Hello the party is Saturday. Who is gonna win Best dressed couple??? Can't wait to see what everyone is coming as!

Totally taking it that far...

Well I thought I wouldn't take the book Skinny Bitch and become a vegetarian but I am so taking it that far. ALERT: If You LOVE LOVE LOVE meat then do not read this book! Because you will never want to eat it again! Giving up meat really should not be that hard for me because I already don't eat red meat or pork but now I'm cutting it all out including chicken. I think whats going to be hard for me is cutting out the dairy part. I love eggs for breakfast :(. Already lactose intolerant though so I have not had milk in three years. (well maybe in some food) but not a glass, only if it was used to cook something. I went on my first Organic / Vegan grocery shopping trip today at HEB Central Market in the Woodlands and to my surprise they are Stocked with stuff! So Kudos to them. Wish we had a Whole Foods up here though! I know this is a drastic lifestyle change but hopefully I will have support from my friends and family. Archie is supporting me as long as I don't take the meat away from him, which I would never do! After reading what is in our meat and what our HORRIBLE government allows to go on at Slaughter houses is DISGUSTING! Mortifying! Inhumane and unsanitary. On another note GEAUX TIGERS! Hope we bring our "A" game to the field on Saturday and Stomp on Auburn! Back to LC again, Archie hunting and I will hang out with my mom. This will be our last weekend until Thanksgiving.

Scrambled

So I have not posted in a while because not much is going on here! We were in LC this past weekend so that Arch could go Hunting at his camp. He did not kill anything but The game is on, when I say game I mean the competition between Archie and My dad to see who kills the most deer. SO Far the score is Don: 2 Archie: 0. They love to rag on each other about this! So competitive these two! I just love that they have such a close relationship. Hopefully Archie will have something to brag about after this weekend. We are going back this weekend and I am still undecided if I am going to Baton Rouge...... I kinda want to stay and watch the game in Lake Charles. What I should be doing is getting things ready for our Halloween party but for some reason I am not even thinking about it yet. Who Knows we shall see!
While Archie was hunting I did hang out with my girlfriends and that was fun! I did enjoy hanging out with My cousin Stacey's children. Reeves (the Baby) is getting the cutest personality! SO So cute, almost make me consider....... HA! He just smiles and crinkles his nose and it just makes me laugh.
Oh and I am on my fourth week of P90X (I see no change) and I bought the book Skinny B***h. Its really eye opening! Archie thinks I am becoming obsessed with this whole thing and maybe I am. I hear after reading that book everyone turns into a Vegan. I don't think I would take it that far......
I cant wait until Wednesday when I get to take Suz and Brandon dinner which means I get to see the twins! Hope they are in the mood for Gumbo! Well this blog is all over the place! until next time!

KOL and LSU Florida game

Tuesday we went to see Kings of Leon in concert at The Toyota Center. They were good but I must say i wanted more!

ESPN was there for Gameday. LSU was packed. It was crazy! I don't know how they get it all cleaned up the next day.

Tailgating was a blast too! We ended up meeting up with Everyone we saw on Friday night and more people we went to school with. We had so much fun and It was Great seeing everyone. It was like a mini reunion!

The Girls are Representing with Hebert's Hot Tails Koozies! Wish we would have won but either way we had so much fun! So much that I am considering heading back for the Auburn Game!

Happy Fall Y'all! October is here which means cooler weather (except in Houston), LSU football, and getting ready for Halloween! Oh and I guess I forgot to mention it's also Hunting Season. Which means lots of lonely weekends. If you think this makes me sad you are wrong! I take advantage of these weekends without The hubby to hang out with friends, clean house, and host some wine nights maybe! But Archie will be missed for sure. And I know he is bummed because he was looking forward to cleaning out closets and organizing the office. Ha ha.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. SO think pink and spread the word! Early detection is so important.

Looking forward to heading to Baton Rouge for The LSU / Florida game. I know I know Tim Tebow will most likely Give a great show but I'm going for the fun times and seeing my best friend Tiffany. She bought a house in BR and this will be the first time I see it. Not to mention the first time that I have an actual planned place to stay in BR, and it's a house! And you never know...... those Tigers have been known to pull off some crazy wins......... GO TIGERS!
