Home!

So glad to be back from San Antonio.  Things are changing in our company along with my territory.  I now call on The Woodlands, Spring, & Conroe but I have still have to drive to Beaumont..??  Which sucks but I can't do anything about it.  We stayed at TBarM for our work meeting and the place is surrounded by deer.  So at "deer-thirty" (what my dad calls it) I went outside and took pictures.  Its crazy how these deer just literally come so close to you.  At night I had to slam on my brakes when we were coming back from dinner because they just hang out on the path.  It was pretty neat!
Yesterday was Natalie's baby shower and I thought it went really well.  She got TONS of stuff and I think they are stocked with all the essentials.  I would need a bigger house to fit all that stuff in!
Also in the slideshow you will see some Pics from last weekend.  We went down to Ryan and Kristins to watch the Saints game and stayed there.  We went to dinner and then out on the town to Brixx.  We had a Blast but my body just cant handle that!  While we were there an old friend of mine met us, Kelly Vastine.  It was good to see her and of course Me, Kristin, & Kelly tore up the dance floor.  Good Times!
The Saints play the Vikings today and I'm hoping for a W.  Then tomorrow I get to work from  home so I can reorganize my routing and new call plan.  Not sure if we are opening next weekend, all depends on price of crawfish!  Hope all is well with everyone
Dad all the deer pics are for you.  Love

WAITING!!!

Waiting, waiting, waiting.  Its driving me nuts but it's life.  Still waiting for our farmer to let us know when we should open.  Im sorta anxious about it.  But I also know as soon as I'm working there for a month or so I will be ready for the end.  As much as I would love to open this weekend I am leaving for San Antonio for work today and wont be back until Friday Night.  Then I am helping host Natalie's baby shower this weekend.  I had to get everything basically ready last night for the party since I will be crammed for time when I get back.  Counting on Archie to help me with last minute things.  I"m excited for Baby Nance to come!  I know she is going to be a wonderful mom.  SO Lots to do this week!  busy busy.  Much Love :)

Hot Tails website

Hebert's Hot Tails has a website! YAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!! This is very exciting for us!!! Sunday Archie and I went over to our friends Shalon & Sean Carnahans and Sean helped us get things set up. I have no idea how to do this myself so he was a huge help (well let's be honest he did all the leg work) I just spiced it up a bit after he showed me how. Thanks Sean! This website I LOVE because it's interactive. You can become a member; I guess it's kinda like a Facebook on our website. Yep, That would be the best way to describe it. You have to check it out to see what I mean. It really resembles a blog. Which is great because I know how to blog. There's Pictures, you can make comments, just go to it and become a member! And pass it on to your friends please! Word of mouth is KEY for our business so we need you to spread the word.

Also we are on the B4-u-eat website so go to it, enter our name in the search and write a nice review:). That way when people google "crawfish in Spring TX" we can pop up! Thanks! Much Love

Just practicing...

Watch out and check out my header! I know to most advanced Bloggers it looks elementary BUT It's my first try so be gentle. I had Lunch with Lindsey, a girlfriend from Highschool, and she taught me how to do headers. She is on my Blog list under the Perry's. You can check hers out which are way better than mine. But I think I gave an OK first try. Lindsey knows tons of different things to do and add on blogs. I'm just taking one step at a time. Thanks Lindsey! After playing with the program more I hope mine get better :)It was great catching up with her and I hope we can get together again before they leave for Saudi. I am busy getting things together for taxes (I am using a CPA this year for the business) I just want to drop everything off and let them handle it. Because Me and Quickbooks are NOT acquainted as well as I had hoped. I thought I would be able to do it myself but I have no clue what all we can and should write off for the business. Other than that we are getting ready to open in a couple of weeks which I am a tad bit excited about. I know we will have No Life for about five months but I HOPE & PRAY we are busy and word of mouth gets around. Then the season will go by faster! Get ready for this Arctic Freeze we are getting tonight. I swear Houston is shutting down for this. Ha! People up North must think we are nuts. Hope all is well with everyone! Much Love

Cheers to 2010!

Happy New Year to each of you. I hope that this year will bring you much love and happiness. I do have a dilemma though, do we call it "twenty-ten" or do you call it "two thousand ten"? Who knows! What are your resolutions? Mine is to live a Kinder Life in 2010 and when I say that I mean being kinder to my body by following a more strict vegetarian diet and try to be as Vegan as possible. I am reading "The Kind Diet" by Alicia Silverstone right now hence the word kind in my resolution. I have not eaten one piece of meat since October 23rd and I have no cravings for it either. I do struggle though with eggs and cheese. I love a good omelet for breakfast! I now use veggie cheese but I havent found a substitution for eggs yet. If there was a Whole Foods closer to me I would be set. Enough about my boring thoughts......

Last Night Lucas & Allison Sealy hosted the New Years party. It was so much fun and had a wine theme. Each of us brought two bottles of a wine we had never tried and did a toast when our bottle was opened. We had a blast catching up with all of our friends. I even got to "Ta-Ta" the VanSickle twins when all the fireworks woke them up :) Ending 2009 with Good Friends and Good fun. Dancing, Drinking, dancing, toasting to friends, and more drinking. Felt a little rough on the first moring of 2010 though. Here are some snapshots I got last night. I wish all of you a healthy and Happy New Year!
Oh & PS Hebert's Hot Tails is opening soon!!!!!!!!!!
