Sugar and Spice

SO we are having a GIRL!!! She sure was very shy again.  We were looking for a good 30 minutes and I had to get up and move around twice before we finally confirmed the gender.  She was keeping her legs closed (which Archie approved of) and even did some Yoga poses for us.  I am so relieved to finally know it's a girl.  Now starts the name deciding.....  Oh decisions decisions!  We are between Sailor and Emory. Archie is in love with the name Sailor and does not seem to be budging.  SO we shall see!  I love them both but in different ways.  Hope all is well!

Impatiently Waiting

Well next Wednesday is our appointment and we should then find out the gender of Baby Hebert.  I must admit that this is driving me NUTS!  I have yet to get anything in motion except I have picked out the baby furniture at JCPenney online.  If you have ordered from there PLEASE give me your opinion on the quality and etc.  I have not ordered it yet because I am waiting for it to go on sale more.  Then I still have not decided what to do about a Guest bed.  The current room we use for a guest room will now be the baby room and that bed will not fit in the office.  So I am now trying to decide whether to purchase a daybed with trundle, a twin bed with trundle, or a pull out couch so that our parents will have somewhere besides the living room couch to sleep on when they visit.  I have never been so indecisive in my life!  Well I am praying that Baby Hebert stops being so shy so we can see the gender for sure.  No more of this "i think it might be" stuff!  Hope everyone has a great weekend and check back next weekend to find out what we are having!

Fun in the Sun

Well I'm not sure if I mentioned it but we closed the hut.  SO last weekend was our first free weekend.  We decided to go to Lake Charles since it has been a while since we have been.  My agenda for the weekend was to get some sun and do nothing but lay out by the pool.  Archies agenda was to fish.  We both fufilled our agendas except Archie and My dad didn't have much luck with the fish and I got a nice sunburn. OUCH!  I did get to hang out with my godchild Annalina and Avalynn.  So cute those two.  Then On Sunday we were able to attend Archies Grandparents 60th wedding anniversary.  Yes 60 YEARS!!!  How amazing is that?  They renewed their vows which was so sweet too!  Still no updates on Baby Hebert.  All my early suspicions and tests said boy but now it's looking more like it might be a girl so who knows!  I will be 19 weeks tomorrow, I feel great, and go back June 30 to hopefully find out the sex so I can get to planning!

Well I went for a check up yesterday and my Dr snuck a look to see if she could tell the sex of Baby Hebert.   I'm 16 weeks, will be 17 weeks Friday.  And you would know all he/she showed was its booty.  So she could not really tell.  I go back June 30.  By then I will be over 20 weeks so we should know by then.  I was SOOO bummed becuase i really want to find out.  I have not bought one thing yet and it's killing me!  My first thoughts at the beginning of this pregnancy was that it was a boy, especially bc the MFM did that angle measurement and that is what she said.  Now I am pretty much convinced it's a girl.  I have seen what looks to be like little girl parts three times now, (from the drs i call on looking) so that's what has changed my mind.  But the baby was always seen from the back never the front so who knows it could be hiding something!  On another note this may be the last weekend we are open at the hut.  It's slowing down and it's SO hot!  Hope all is well with you!
