Cheers to 5 years!

Here we are! 5 years together and I couldnt be happier. I am so proud of the life we have created together. You are my best friend, my soul mate. You are everything I want and need in a husband plus more. We are so great together and I am so thankful for our wonderful marriage and feel so blessed with our family. We will grow by one more next year and as nervous as I am I know that the only one who could take this journey with me is you. Archie I love you more than you know and you make me feel so loved each and every day. I secretly adore how you compliment me everyday, even when Im big and pregnant :). It's the little things you do that mean the most. You are my dream come true and I know we have so many more memories to make in our future.

My bday, weekend with Honey, pics galore

Since it has been a while since my last post and I uploaded Pictures from my camera and not just my phone soooo here are some pictures! The above picture is pretty self explanatory. I'm trying to remember to keep up with these pics for baby #2.

A few weekends ago we had some fun over at the Van Sickles. Parker took Eme for a spin but I think she had a close eye on the chip Hudson was holding

Archie left Tuesday to go hunt in Kansas and comes back today, Sunday. This was a "good morning daddy picture" i sent him from my phone. Too cute.

Oh I must say that we have been pacifier free for over a week now! She still uses it at nap and night time but I'll take that! She has had a cold so she could not breathe too well out of her nose so I thought it was the perfect time to do away with the pacifier clips and etc. Wahoo!

My birthday was Wednesday and since Archie was gone my mom and Aunt Lisa came up Thursday night to visit for the weekend. Mom cooked me a yummy gumbo. We had so much fun and it was soo good to have them here.

We dressed up Emery for the Lsu game and tried doing a photo shoot with her and she quickly was "Over it!"

My friend Suzie saw this cute cute idea to take these chalkboard photos. I had my Aunt do a trial one for us. I sent the idea to our photographer and we are going to try and do it in a few weeks at Emery's one year pics. Did I really just type that? One Year pics? I'm tearing up as i type this :( I cant believe its already here!

She has been napless for three days now. Anytime my mom is in town she doesn't nap! Which makes for a frustrating afternoon but we handle it. The above pic is around 2:15pm when she is usually napping so she was a little bit cranky. We are patiently waiting for daddy to get home around six so we can see him! We missed him so much!

Archie's mom came to visit and we had fun! Shopping, eating out and more shopping. We tried oh so hard to get Eme to walk and she is sooo very close. I know everyone says dont rush it but people she is so heavy and I am pregnant so YES I would like her to walk now! I think it will happen this week or next and of course Archie is out of town off and on for the next two weeks.

Happy Labor day

Thursday I had My First Trimester screening appointment and we got to see #2 again. It was jumping ALL over the place. I do not recall miss Emery doing this. I am starting to think I may be in for it with this one!

Here is my on the go go go go go Emery. She is BUSY! But oh so cute :) I would like to think she is super close to walking but Ive been saying that for a few weeks now and she hasn't yet. She's close though!

Life is great and sometimes I have to stop and think how blessed we truly are. We are so happy and looking forward to the next chapter. I will admit that I was down a bit at first but now I am getting excited! We have made the decision to not find out the sex of the baby. There are only a few surprises in life and since #2 is definitely a surprise we will continue with the theme.

On another note the crawfish hut got broken into again. They made away with quite a bit but the mess is the most annoying part. They threw a rock through the window so glass was EVERYWHERE! First I wish they would not break in but If they did I wish they would be more clean about it ya know?

I have been busy getting things ready for Eme's birthday party and I can NOT wait!!! It is going to be so cute! We are having two parties One here in Spring and then the next weekend in LC. I can't believe she is about to be One!
