WHEW!

Wow we have been busy!  I was in New Orleans all week for work and if that wasnt exhausting enough we have been SLAMMED at the hut this weekend.  Thank goodness my parents came in this weekend to help us out.  Other than that things are great!  I am not complaining about being busy, i hate when there is nothing to do :).  Bring it on.  Life is great!  Hope all is well with yall.

Mom's the Best!

Mom's here!  Love love love when she comes!!!!!  My Mom decided to come in for the weekend and while she was here we put her to work!  I have been needing to Stain the Purgola that Archie built over the back porch so that was her first job.  Second I decided to paint the top part of our dining room.  I wanted a deep red wine color and we ended up going with a color called Antique Burgandy, it's a little on the purple side...  But I think I love it.  I may do Some Faux over it in the Smoke.  My Mom is so talented and always does such an Awesome job painting.  I wish I took after her in her decorating/creativity.  In the pics below you will also see my painting from this weeks paint class with The Tipsy Brush.  I am hanging it in the guest Bathroom but I still need to get a frame for it. 

By the way I am updating this blog at 6:30 on Saturday night because once again we sold out at the hut.  We are getting more Crawfish in the morning so hopefully we do well tomorrow too! 

And in one of the pics of our dining room you will see a pink bag on the table.  This is for Miss Scarlet Anne Nance!  Our friends Jon & Natalie Nance gave birth to their beautiful baby girl Yesterday morning.  They did not find out the sex and were completely shocked when It was a girl!  I can't wait to meet her and have already bought her some pink stuff and look forward to spoiling her with more!  Hope all is well!

Woop Woop!

WOOP WOOP!  We sold out at the hut This weekend!  We had a great weekend all together. 
Friday night was great. 
Saturday Archie got to work early at the hut doing some things we needed done.  Hanging a light out front and building cabinets/storage on the inside.  Saturday night at the hut our friends Jaclyn & Amanda came to hang out with us and then we went and grabbed some drinks afterwards.  It was great catching up with them! Sunday we had to get more crawfish delivered because we were almost out and then sold out by 4pm!  Which is great news!  Sunday when we were getting everything ready to open, Archie was still working on the cabinets so I decided to put the potatoes and corn to boil.  When i dumped the corn into the boiling water it splashed up on me and I now have a pretty nasty burn.  OUCH!  It hurt so bad but I tried to be tough :).  I'm Lucky I was wearing long sleeves because it could have been worse.  But it's still pretty bad :(.  Everything Is really going great in our lives right now and we feel truly blessed.  We are very Thankful!
We both have a really busy week this week, I have something every night this week then it's back to the hut.

OH & GET THIS:  when Archie was nailing in the cabinet boards I was looking at the back of his shirt and i said "you know the phone # on the back of your Hebert's Hot Tails shirt is wrong!" Holy Crap!  The phone number on all our Tshirts and Koozies is wrong.  How did i not catch this when I looked at the proof!  It says 281-857-9988 and our number is 281-257-9988.  UGHHH!  So that sucks but nothing I can do, it's not like I can take a black permanent marker to all the shirts! Anyways Hope all is well with all of yall!
